Lifeline Labour Solutions is a boutique partnership providing labour management solutions to workplace challenges. Partners Carol-ann Jordan and Jacqueline Belgrave are established practitioners with a wealth of knowledge and experience in Employment Relations and Human Resource Management between them.

Employment Relations focuses on conflict management and is the solid foundation upon which the success of all other HR initiatives and interventions rest.

Who is Carol-ann Jordan?

Carol-ann is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years’ experience working with both medium and large businesses, spanning the Manufacturing, Import/Distribution and Tourism sectors and with engagements in both the private and public sectors. After a solid foundation in Industrial relations Carol-ann diversified her expertise and became an HR generalist, developing a diverse skillset ranging from training and development to rewards management and organizational restructuring. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sociology from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and later a Master of Science degree in Labour and Employment Relations, with distinction, from the same institution. In addition to her practical experiences in the trade union movement, she also holds certificates in Labour and Administrative Law, Administrative Corporate Secretaryship, Industrial Psychology, Emotional Intelligence and Service Excellence, among others. Carol-ann has served as an external consultant with the ILO’s Workers’ Bureau (ILO-Actrav) and with the global Public Services Union – Public Services International.

Who is Jacqueline Belgrave?

Jacqueline’s 20 year career as a Human Resources professional spans the telecommunications, manufacturing, and financial services sectors. She has served locally and regionally and has employment and consulting experience in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from The University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management from Keele University, Staffordshire, England. Admitted to the Barbados Bar in 2018, Jacqueline completed her Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) at the University of the West Indies and is a graduate of Hugh Wooding Law School, St. Augustine, Trinidad. She also holds a certificate in Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) from Stitt Feld Handy Group, University of Windsor, Canada. An accomplished industrial relations specialist, Jacqueline has in-depth knowledge of the employment relations systems in the Eastern Caribbean, Bahamas, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. She also served on the Executive Committee of the Barbados Employers’ Confederation as the Government’s representative for the sugar industry.
